Saskatoon Island Ramble

NWARTA Members and Friends Come for a Fall Ramble at Saskatoon Island Provincial Park and enjoy the fall colours and fresh air of Lake Saskatoon in celebration of the International Day of Older Persons.

Thursday, October 1 (weather permitting), gather at 1:30 pm at the entrance parking lot. Bring water and an afternoon snack to enjoy some time in the picnic area after the walk. Travel west on Hwy 43 (20+/- km from Costco); turn right at the Park sign (Range Rd 81).

Hiker Extraordinaire, Maxine Maxwell, will guide the walk along Lakeshore Trail (2 km). At this point, you might want to end your walk or you may prefer to continue on one of the loops adding 1-2 more km.
