Message from the PARTA President

Welcome to all visitors to the website of Parkland Area Retired Teachers Association. Until the COVID -19 restrictions are lifted PARTA has suspended all meetings and gatherings.

Message from Iona Robertson, President of PARTA:

Hello PARTA members,

Although there are still some ARTA activities for committee and board members, your executive continues to think that it is best to “disband” PARTA meetings and gatherings for the time being.

You have been receiving information from ATA and ARTA regarding developments concerning our pensions. Rest assured that you will receive important news about issues which you should know about.

Please don’t hesitate to contact one of the executive members if you need help or information.  We will do our best to get you to the right person.  It is unusual not to have direct contact with the office staff, but they are working hard for us and will respond to any needs ARTA members may have.

Please continue to take care of yourselves and know that we sure are thinking of you.
