PARTA Annual General Meeting and Luncheon

Another busy, productive and social year has flown by! We have included some timely reminders as we prepare for our upcoming Annual General Meeting and summer break.

On June 4, 2019, members will vote on the following business items:

  •       * Election for the President’s position for a two-year term*
  •      * Proposed Increase in PARTA annual membership fees from $5.00 to $10.00*

Please take note of the following reminders and dates:

  • ** There will be no meetings during the months of July and August**
  • You will receive your next PARTA meeting invitation in August.
  • **Annual membership renewal blitz will take place at our first fall meeting on September 10th**

Upcoming dates:

  • * May 31 – ARTA Photo Contest 2019 closing deadline
  • * June 4 – 2019 ARTA Wellness Challenge final day. Send your best 30-day totals to Mary Linn Sage      at marybillsage@shaw.ca
  • * June 6 – Annual ARTA Golf Tournament – call 780-708-6359 or search ARTA Golf Tournament 2019 on the ARTA  website for details
  • * July 19 – final day for Second Wind Conference early-bird registrations. For information, call 780-919-5848 or email 2ndWindConference.ca. The conference will be held on September 5th.
  • * August 26 – check your email this week for the September PARTA Meeting invitation
  • * September 10 – first fall PARTA meeting, luncheon and membership renewal blitz

Attached, for your information, are the Briefing Notes from our 2018 Annual General Meeting. These Notes provide a summary of the highlights of that meeting.

$3.00 per person for meeting only (includes beverages)
$15.00 per person for meeting and full buffet lunch
