WOLF CREEK RETIRED TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION WELCOME TO RETIREMENT / TO HELL WITH THE BELL BREAKFAST

WHEN: Wednesday, August 30, 2023
Doors open at 8:45 am and breakfast at 9:30 am

WHERE: Ponoka Drop In Centre, 5015 – 46 Ave., Ponoka

COST: $15 per person payable at the door for catered breakfast by Bob Ronnie
Facility rental and related costs covered by the ARTA grant
Breakfast is complimentary for new retirees.

RSVP: Please RSVP by Friday, August 25 if you are attending or not
to Frank at fwctschabold@shaw.ca or 403-783-6436 as we need numbers for
the caterer. Spouses/partners or an accompanying friend or family member
are always welcome at our events.

AGENDA: – arrival and registration beginning at 8:45 am
– catered breakfast at 9:30 am and visiting
– memorial time presented by Dorothy Ungstad
– welcome to new retirees
– short presentation by Deb Gerow, ARTA President
– WCRTA annual meeting (the meeting will be short as the only business
is elections and we have a full slate to present)

MEMBERSHIPS: WCRTA memberships can be paid at the door for those that need
to renew or extend. ($5 for one year or $20 for five years)
(First year’s membership for new retirees is complimentary.)

Please help spread the word and encourage others to attend. Try to bring someone new
or someone that hasn’t attended in a while or offer a ride, especially to those colleagues
who no longer drive. It will be an excellent opportunity to visit with former colleagues,
welcome our new retirees and ARTA President Deb Gerow, and recognize the colleagues
that we have lost.

The ARTA Annual General Meeting is coming up on October 3 & 4, 2023. At the meeting
there will be elections for executive and committee positions. The deadline for nomination
documents to be sent in is September 8, 2023. If one of these positions may interest you
let me know and I can forward you the nomination package.
