WOLF CREEK RETIRED TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION WELCOME TO RETIREMENT / TO HELL WITH THE BELL BREAKFAST

              Doors open at 8:30 am and program starting at 9:15 am

WHERE:  Ponoka Drop In Centre, 5015 – 46 Ave., Ponoka

COST:  $10 per person payable at the door for catered breakfast by Bob Ronnie.

             Breakfast and related event costs are being subsidized by our ARTA grant.

             Breakfast is complimentary for new retirees.

RSVP:  Please RSVP by Wednesday, September 10 if you are attending or not.

             numbers for the caterer.  Spouses/partners or an accompanying friend

             or family member are always welcome at our events.

             ARTA Associate members are encouraged and welcome to be part of

             our branch.

1975/76 – 2025/26 – This upcoming year marks the 50th year of operation for our branch.

                                 We will be doing something special at each of our three events during

                                 the 2025/26 season.  Don’t miss out.  Come out and help recognize and

                                 celebrate this milestone.  Your attendance is what makes our events a

                                 success.

AGENDA: – arrival and registration beginning at 8:30 am

                  – memorial time presented at 9:15 by Dorothy Ungstad

                  – catered breakfast at 9:30 and visiting

                  – WCRTA annual meeting (the meeting will be short as we have a full slate to

                     present for election of officers)

                  – welcome to new retirees

                  – 50th anniversary recognition learning about the branch history and charter members

                  – anniversary cake and door prizes

BRANCH ACTIVITY FEES:  WCRTA branch activity fees can be paid at the door for those that

                                               need to renew or extend.  ($5 for one year or $20 for five years.)

                                               First year is complimentary for new retirees.

For security reasons, once our activities commence in the auditorium, the outside doors will be locked.

If you are running late, not to worry. There are buzzers at both entrances.

Please help spread the word and encourage others to attend. Try to bring someone new or someone

that hasn’t attended in a while.  Offer a ride, especially to those colleagues who no longer drive.  It will

be an excellent opportunity to visit with former colleagues, meet new people, welcome our new retirees,

and recognize the colleagues that we have lost in the past year.  Don’t miss out on the recognition
