STARTA Membership

STARTA membership is free to retiring teachers in the first year of their retirement. Membership keeps communication lines open with colleagues and with our provincial counterparts who advocate for us. Members are invited to the variety of activities throughout the year, and are kept informed of issues that may affect them as retired educators.

Membership Fee for 2018-2019 is $10 for both a member and an associate member. An associate member is anyone who has purchased a membership in STARTA, but does not have professional certification as a teacher.

NOTE: Photos may be taken at STARTA events and may be published in STARTA media. If this is an issue for you, please discuss your concern with the photographer at the event.
