Summer Update 2020

Hello fellow FRTA members. I hope you are enjoying the summer weather and you are able to stay active and in contact with family and friends.

The executive made the difficult decision to cancel the NO BELLS Breakfast this year. What we are hoping is that you will get together with friends and colleagues on August 31 or September 1 and enjoy breakfast together. Please take a photo and send it to Gary Sawatzky at info@momentumcap.ca We will post them in the next newsletter.

The executive realizes that most of our collection of membership fees happens at the breakfast. Graham Sewell, our treasurer, has arranged to make e-transfers available for those who prefer that to cheques. We hope you will continue your membership so the FRTA branch can remain active and able to serve. COVID can’t last forever! In early September I will send out information on how to pay your membership.

At this time we are hoping to go forward with the Christmas Luncheon in November and will have further information on that gathering in the fall. A new format and venue will be considered.

Myrna Pauls, Carol Malmberg and I will be attending the ARTA AGM by zoom on October 6 and 7.
