Donation to Cancer Clinic
This is the presentation of $500 to the High River Community Cancer Centre by the Foothills Retired Teachers’ Association (FRTA). The High River Community Cancer Centre is one of several community cancer treatment centres in Alberta. These community cancer clinics are critically important in the rural areas they serve. Donations such as this support equipment purchase and/or replacement (the existing chemotherapy hood needs replacing), the patient lunch program, patient and survivor yoga program, and other needs as they arise.
