Doors open at 11:45 am and dinner at 12:30 pm<\/div>\n

WHERE:\u00a0 Ponoka Drop In Centre,<\/strong>\u00a05015 – 46 Ave., Ponoka<\/div>\n

COST:\u00a0 $20 per person<\/strong> for catered dinner by Bob Ronnie payable at the door. Cost is subsidized from our ARTA grant.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
RSVP: Please RSVP by Tuesday, November 25<\/span>, 2025<\/strong> if you are\u00a0attending or not <\/strong>to Frank Tschabold at\u00a0fwctschabold@shaw.ca <\/a><\/span>or 403-783-6436 as we need numbers for the caterer. Spouses\/partners or an accompanying friend or family member are always welcome at our events.<\/div>\n

ARTA Associate members <\/strong>and\u00a0retired education sector employees\u00a0<\/strong>are encouraged and\u00a0welcome to be part of our branch.<\/div>\n

– arrival and registration beginning at 11:45 am<\/div>\n
– turkey dinner and visiting<\/div>\n
– short program to recognize our 50 years of volunteers<\/div>\n
– musical entertainment by the Educators<\/div>\n
– anniversary cake and door prizes<\/div>\n

BRANCH ACTIVITY FEES:\u00a0<\/strong> WCRTA branch activity fees can be paid at\u00a0the door for those that need. ($5 for one year or $20 for five years.)\u00a0 First year is\u00a0<\/strong>complimentary for new retirees.<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
ARTCF FUNDRAISER:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Just as we have done in the past, we will be raising funds for the Alberta Retired Teachers Charitable Foundation (ARTCF) at the luncheon.\u00a0 The ARTCF supports projects for seniors in Alberta and unlike many charities, less than 5% of the funds go to overhead costs.\u00a0 Last year we raised $2984.<\/div>\n
If you wish to contribute, you can either give a cash donation or if you would like a tax receipt, please bring a cheque payable to Alberta Retired Teachers Charitable Foundation (ARTCF)<\/strong> so that the foundation will be able to issue you a tax receipt.<\/div>\n

For security reasons, once our activities commence in the auditorium, the outside doors will be locked. If you are running late, not to worry.\u00a0 There are\u00a0buzzers at both entrances.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Please help spread the word about the luncheon and encourage others to attend.\u00a0 Try to bring someone new or someone that hasn’t attended in a while.\u00a0 Offer a ride, especially to those colleagues who no longer drive.<\/div>\n

canvasser attending briefly during registration for those who wish to sign the petition.<\/div>\n
